Summary of my Achievements the past years

U16 Matchplay Champion

Winning the Under-16 Austrian Matchplay Championship remains one of my proudest achievements. The tournament took place on a challenging, undulating course, yet I was able to adapt and make the most of the conditions, securing victory after the first extra hole.

This win was a reflection of the years of hard work and dedication I had poured into my training. It was an incredible feeling to see my name listed alongside some of the best amateur golfers in the world on the World Amateur Golf Ranking. More importantly, the experience taught me invaluable lessons about staying focused and composed under pressure—skills that will continue to shape my approach in future competitions.

2.Place at the Austrian Matchplay Championship

The 2022 European Team Championships were an intense and educational experience that challenged us both athletically and mentally. Together with my team, we had high hopes, but the tournament didn’t go as we had hoped. The conditions were extreme – icy temperatures and strong winds made the game particularly difficult.

It was disappointing, but I learned a lot – especially about the importance of teamwork and mental strength, especially in such challenging weather conditions. Even though the result didn’t align with our goal, I am proud of the team and take away many valuable lessons from this tournament.

European Team Championship 2022

n 2022, I battled my way to the final of the Austrian Matchplay Championships at the prestigious Golf Club Velden-Köstenberg. My opponent in the final was Anna Neumayer, an experienced national team player. I pushed myself to the limit, staying strong and focused until the 17th hole. Ultimately, I finished in second place—an achievement I’m incredibly proud of.

Ending my Year with a second place felt great and even want to make me work harder for my next season.

Matchplay Champian U18 2023

I won the Under-18 Matchplay Championship at Golf Club Haugschlag in a thrilling match. I secured the victory on the 18th hole against my opponent, Katherina Schroll. We both gave it our all, and the match was a true test of skill and determination.

The competition was intense, with every match testing my limits, but it was these very challenges that fueled my growth. Staying focused and composed, especially during the final moments, was crucial. Overcoming these obstacles taught me invaluable lessons in resilience and adapting under pressure—skills that will undoubtedly serve me well in future tournaments.

European Team Championship 2023

The European Girls’ Team Championship in Hossegor was an educational experience. In the first round, I posted a solid score of 76, which kept us in the middle of the pack. On the second day, I wasn’t able to improve my performance as much, but I knew that the match play would be crucial.

In the first match against Belgium, Marie Witzmann and I narrowly lost our foursome, bringing the overall score to 2-3. However, in the second match against Scotland, things went better: We won our foursome 3&1, contributing to the 4-1 team victory.

In the final match for 13th place against Iceland, Marie and I delivered a strong performance in our foursome and won 5&3. With additional wins from Katharina and Johanna, we secured a 3-2 victory and finished in 13th place.

In 2023, I had the honor of competing as a player in the Golf Youth World Championship in Canada. It was a great opportunity to showcase my skills at one of the highest levels. Unfortunately, I was only able to play my best on the first day, but the entire experience was incredibly valuable. I am deeply grateful for the support from the Austrian Federation and the coaching team, who gave me the opportunity to participate and test my abilities on such a big international stage.

3.Place Austrian National Championship

At the 2023 National Austrian State Championships, I finished in 3rd place in the women’s category. The final round was the toughest, as I made a few mistakes on the first nine holes. However, I managed to improve on the back nine, securing two birdies on the final holes to clinch 3rd place. It was a valuable experience that helped me grow as a player. It was my last tournament in europe before I went to the United States.

European Team Championship 2024

The European Girls’ Team Championship in Sweden was a great but challenging experience. Alongside my teammates Katharina Schroll, Johanna Janisch, Marie Witzmann, Zoe Oberascher, and Julia Bauer, we fought our way after a difficult start. After a loss to the Czech Republic and a win against Scotland, we unfortunately lost to Finland in the final match. Despite the conditions of strong winds, it was a valuable experience where I learned a lot. It showed me how important it is to adapt to changing conditions and to stay united as a team.

The tournament was a real challenge. With a 69 in the first round, I was in the lead, but in the following days, I couldn’t quite maintain that level of performance. Despite the difficult moments, I managed to defend my position until the very end. The day after the final day of the Austrian International Amateur Championship, I had my oral Matura exam. It was a stressful week, but I was able to prepare well and passed the exam successfully – a great feeling to conquer both challenges!
